Hello Luis,
I am very glad I printed and put in my suit case the web site information for divers in Cozumel
that lead me to you. July 4th 2007 I called you, Linda was great on the phone with every detail,
making me feel good about diving with you after having a very bad un-professional insecure two day
dive with Dressel Divers.
When you and I went diving on July 5th and 6th it was truly a rewarding opportunity, you showed
me damaged reefs coming back to life that I never could have imagined, along with some of the
most beautiful reefs I ever saw.
Before going in the water on the 1st day, I told you sometimes I get claustrophobic, you said
"no way I'm 5 star advanced diver" I laughed and said sometimes it gets real bad. The next day,
our 3rd dive in Planacar caves, entering the 5th or 6th cavern I signaled to you with one finger
"give me minute" and waved my hand. You took no chances, did not wait a minute and remembered I
get claustrophobic, you quick looked for the closest exit, took my arm and we exited very easy,
slow and precise proving how true a professional diver you are.
Your are also a great teacher showing me different ways to conserve air, you showed me so many ways
to take better pictures and how to get closer to sea-life. This was one of my best dives ever that
will not be forgotten, I will be back and refer you to all my dive friends.

Hola Luis and Linda,
I don't know where to begin. We arrived in Cozumel very excited about
diving but very apprehensive also. Linda - thank you for your responses
to all of my questions and your logistical support before and during the
trip. You were accessible and quickly responded with all of the information
that we needed. My main goal was to get my wife more comfortable with
diving but also hoping that she would develop a love for the sport.
She was very concerned about being forced into something that she
was not comfortable with (greater depth than we had previously dove,
diving beyond our abilities). Luis was very understanding and helpful.
His work with us made us both better and more confident divers.
We both learned a lot from him due to his patience and his sharing
tips to help us both. I had decided before the trip that I wanted
to do a night dive but my wife had decided that she would definitely
sit that one out. When Luis and I were discussing a night dive
I was shocked when she decided that she wanted to do the dive also.
I think that she did better than I did on that one. We were going to
use one of our days to explore the island although I would have preferred
to gone diving that last day. Once again my wife surprised me by suggesting
that we dive that final day instead of exploring the island. That ended
up being the best day of diving for me. We got to see a Nurse shark on that
final day - that was truly a thrill.
I had a camera and took it on all nine dives. I think that I ran the batteries
down every day taking pictures then downloaded all of the pictures each night
on my laptop. I got some great pictures thanks to Luis. He worked with me
through all of the dives giving me tips to get better pictures. I don't know
how to thank you enough for helping us to have a truly fantastic diving vacation.
One other thing that impressed both Reneé and I about Luis was although this is
a job for him you can tell that he truly loves to dive. We watched him on several
occasions pick up trash on the ocean floor to dispose of when he finished the dive.
What an outstanding example and ambassador for the sport he is. I have already
given his name to a couple of dive shops in the area with the highest of
recommendations. We will only use Luis on all of our future trips to Cozumel.
We will be coming back to Cozumel in October on a cruise so we will only have
one day to dive but we will most definitely be using Luis.
Reneé and I have been back for two days and this is all that we have
been talking about. We have both found ourselves looking through the
pictures over and over again in awe. We just can't thank you enough.

It has been a busy week and a half since we returned from our wonderful trip to Cozumel, but I wanted to
take a moment to thank you both for the fantastic time we had under your watchful eyes.
Luis, I cannot describe how satisfying it was for me to watch Ben and Renee complete respectively their junior
open water and open water certification courses. Your remarkable care, concern, and calm and thorough
instructional manner completely erased any anxiety that I had regarding their safety in open tropical waters.
In my opinion, the value of their training experience was significantly greater with you in Cozumel than what
they would have been exposed to here in Texas (pool training and a murky gravel pit, lake or small spring).
Nothing compares to diving in an environment like the one presented in Cozumel to present realistically both
the incredible joys and inherent risks associated with scuba diving. Both of them came away from the
experience absolutely hooked. We are already planning monthly dives at local sites so that they can hone and
improve the skill sets that you so ably set in motion.
You may recall that I told you of my experiences living and diving in a variety of Caribbean, Atlantic and
Pacific locales over the past 45 years. In all that time, and given my exposure to some incredible
professional divers.....NASA, cable, Navy SEAL, wreck and salvage divers among them.....I have rarely met one
that exhibited such professionalism as you. You are a wonderful instructor and divemaster, and it would be my
privilege to dive with you again in the future. Further, I would feel perfectly comfortable entrusting
the most important people in my life.....my wife and two young sons.....to your care when we return to Cozumel.
Linda, thank you so much for ironing out all the details and taking care of the logistics for us. It
turned what could have been a daunting and frustrating task into a seamless and enjoyable experience.
Also, please express my thanks to Stefan for his "bubblemaker" work with Rhett. Rhett is counting the
days until his 10th birthday so he can come back and have one of you certify him as a junior open water
diver!

Hello Luis & Linda!
I wanted to personally thank you for taking Stephanie snorkeling while we
were under. It means so much to me that you went out of your way to show
her a good time. Of everything we did on our cruise, she tells me snorkeling
with you was the best. She seems willing to take the Open Water Diver course
in a pool here in Dallas, so we can Scuba together in the future. She just needs
more time to get comfortable with the equipment, and learn the proper use of
the gear. All of the inflating/deflating of the BCD, equalizing, ect was just too
much for her to learn in 1 day. But I know you saved her from totally hating
the experience, and for that I am VERY grateful!
Without a doubt, next time we return to Cozumel (for our honeymoon) we
will come see you! Hopefully by then the 2 of us will be certified. Take

Just thought I'd drop a line to let you know what a unique and unforgetable
adventure Larry and I experienced with you and Luis. We have been the center
of our circle of friends and family, relaying our accounts of the dives and
the scenes we encountered. I'm on my way to the photo lab to process film and
try and get a passport photo taken for my open water divers card.
On the trip home I was able to give you some advertisement with the
other passengers that were on our flight.
In the event that I am able to provide you with some leads- I hope you will
be able to close a few deals to your benefit.
We are sunburned and our digestive tracks are in tormoil, but it was well
worth the trip- considering the diving and the procurement of my open water
cert. Have a great Cozumel day- please give our regards to Luis. When we
are able to get some more vacation arranged and we have our tickets at hand,
I will contact you and make housing arrangements.... It will probably be a few
months, but hey- you know we want to come back ASAP ! ; )

Enjoyed the rip last month and hope to get back down in the near
future. I dove with Doug and the group from Burleson Scuba. When I get
back there are several advanced divers who will be coming along. Most
have over 100 dives, but there are those of us with only 75 or 80
(some people have to work for a living), and all of us are dive masters or
instructors. We will probably want to do some deep dives and may plan
them through Doug or will go directly through you.
As I said, I enjoyed the diving we did with you. It was the best trips
I have made to Cozumel.

We both have very fond memories of our Cozumel trip during October of 1995 (hurricane Roxanne shortened our diving). This trip was of course highlighted by the rigors of the advanced training we received under your watchful eye.
Since our Cozumel adventure, we have been honing our skills in the Florida Keys, Grand Cayman, Gulf of Mexico (Flower Gardens) and around New England.
Our next travel destination will probably be back to Cozumel to pay you a visit (but, please no hurricanes this time). We are thinking about a September or October trip.
